CZECHOSLOVAK TREND IN DOUBT THE ELECTION RESULTS (Rec. noon) LONDON, May 25. The results of the Czech elections on May 26 left unansered the question whether the Czech constitution is a trend towards Soviet ideas or those of Western democracies, says the Daily Mail’s correspondent. The new assembly, after the constitution is drawn up, will be dissolved and new election held. The final returns, subject to one recount, show that throughout the country the Communists won 114 seats, the Czech Socialists 35, the Catholics 47, Slovakian Democrats (Conservatives) 43, Social Democrats 36,,and others five. 81 The Communists won 65 of the 150 seats in Bohemia, 28 of the 81 in Moravia and 21 of the 69 in Slovakia. , . ~ The corerspondent, analysing the party strengths, says the Left parties have a majority of four over the parties which are more to the Right.
