After being adrift for five days in the Tasman Sea, the trawler Pahau was picked up again late yesteida> by the New Zealand Government steamer Matai. . , The drifting vessel was sighted on Saturday afternoon by an R.A.A.F. Catalina flying-boat, but.was not in the position indicated by the plane when the Matai came up. Another Catalina, which was sent out yesterday, found the trawler 40 miles from the’Matai and about 100 miles east of Port Macquarie. The Matai radioed Sydney at 10.10 p.m. yesterday that she had picked up the tow and was continuing to Sydney. .
