Austral (N.Z.).—The return for the four weeks ended March 16 was 781 oz. from ’36,000 cubic yards worked in 462 hours. Rimu Dredging! Company.—The return for the period from March 5 to March 19 was 415.5 crude oz. of gold in 254 hours 14min from 82,588 cubic yards excavated. Wellington Alluvials.—For the four
weeks ended March 9, Wellington* AlluvialSj. Ltd., dredge worked 410 hours, handling 154,000 cubic yards of material, and recovered bullion estimated to contain 584 ounces of fine gold. COMPANY NEWS South British Insurance. —An interim dividend of 1/- a share payable on April 11 is announced by the South British Insurance Company.
