PLIGHT OF REFUGEES
FLIGHT FROM THE EAST LONDON, March 18. In the past few days increased numbers of refugees from Hungary have arrived in Austria attempting to cross into the British and American zones, says the Exchange Telegraph’s Vienna correspondent. They are being interned by Allied police. The refugees include not only many civilians, but also members of the new Hungarian Army and police force forced out by famine and insanitation.
