I SYDNEY, October 7. j One punch earned Tommy Johns l £7O at Sydney Stadium on Saturday ; night. Appearing as a last-minute substitute for Jimmv Brunt, Johns defeated Billy Marsden in 11 3-ssecs, including the 10-second count. Though Australian records are incomplete, it is considered certain that Johns win is the quickest yet in a main event in this country. An 11-second bout at Newark, U.S.A., in which Rudy Zymeck knocked out Laurel Green, is the quickest win on record.
