AUSTRALIA

POLICE CO-OPERATION SYDNEY, Sept. 16. The Australian and New Zealand Police Forces may set up a central organisation similar to the American Federal Bureau of Investigation, to etsablish uniform methods of' crime control. The first step will be a wide exchange of criminal investigators between the States. Detection methods used by G-men will be introduced. Uniform methods in criminal investigation are being drawn up at a police conference which is being held in Sydney and which is being attended by police officers from every State and New Zealand. They have agreed to a common finger-printing policy and a central bureau has been set up in Sydney.
