The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 24iL 9ins. WEATHER-FORECAST The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Wellington, to-day:— Situation: An anti-cyclone is north-west of the North Island and there is a trough of low pressure over the western Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.m., Thursday: Moderate and variable winds; weather, cloudy to overcast, with some scattered rain or drizzle; temperatures, moderate. Further outlook: Similar conditions.
