WATAROA STOCK SALE.
The National Mortgage and Agency Coy Ltd. report on the Autumn fixture held yesterday as follows: There was an entry of 475 head of cattle and 135 sheep and a good attendance of buyers. Included in the entry was an outstanding draft of 150 head of well bred Hereford cattle on account of Messrs J. Condon and Sons Mahitahi, also a line of 30 2| year steers on accounts of Messrs Eggeling Bros., Okuru. The sale onened rather slowly when lines of local cattle were offered, but later improved considerably when the consignments of good coloured well bred steers came forward. The following is a list of our principal sales: A/c. J. M. Purcell, 7 18 month heifers at £5 12/6; 7 steers from £6 2/6 to £lO 12/6; 1 cow at £4 12/6. A/c. J. and E. Green, 8 steers at £7 17/6, 3 18 month heifers at £4 17/6, 1 stag at £7 12/6, 4 cows at £4. A/c. A. W. Douglas. 11 heifers from £5 7/6 to £9 12/6, 2 steers at £3 12/6. A/c. T. A. Condon and Sons. 10 18 month steers from £6 12/6 to £7 2/6. A/c. C. H. and L. R. Gibb, 14 2| year heifers from £7 17/6 to £lO 2/6. Account F. J. Renner, 11 2£ year steers at £8 17/6, 9 heifers at £6 17/6. A/c. B. Cowan, 4 2| year steers at £l2 7/6, 3 ditto at £9 17/6, 1 cow at £7 2/6, 2 cows at £4 12/6. A/c.
