RUGBY FOOTBALL
CELTIC CLUB MEETING.
There was an attendance of about 40 members at the annual meeting of the Celtic Rugby Football Club last evening, Mr. T. O’Donnell presiding. The annual report and the balance sheet, showing a sound financial position, were read and adopted. Officers were elected as follow: — Patroness, Mrs. F. M. Dennehy; President, Mr. T. O’Donnell; Secretary, Mr. W. Clancy; Treasurer, Mr. B. Guerin; Club Captain, Mr. F. Saunders; Delegates to W.C.R.U., Messrs T. O’Donnell and H. Clifford; Coaches, Dr. Thompson, Messrs H. Clifford, J. Rea, G. Poole, L. Forest and F. Saunders; Committee, Messrs E. Davis, C. Knapp, J. Fitzgerald, A. Fitzgerald, R. Fitz-, gerald, J. Ramsay, A. Forrest, J. Rea, K. Burley, P. Costello, W. Croudis and A. Firth. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr. M. J. Fogarty, Mr. M. J. Phillips, Mr. L. Forrest and the Press. A number of new members were elected. It was decided to nominate teams in all grades and opening day was fixed for Easter Saturday. A donation of £2/2/- was made to the Coaches’ Association.
