WEATHER REPORT 9 a.m.: Barometer, 1013.6 (rising); thermometer, 56; wind, westerly (lignt breeze); sky, overcast; bar, considerable sea; river, normal; rainfall, 1.25 inches (total to date, 101.72 inches). The depth on the bar at high water this morning was 21 feet 8 inches. WEATHER FORECAST. The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day:— Situation: An anti-cyclone is moving on to the Dominion from the Tasman Sea. . Forecast to 5 p.m. Saturday: Moderate westerly winds predominating. A few isolated showers at first, the weather being otherwise fair to cloudy. Temperatures moderate to mild. Further outlook cloudy.
