The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 21 feet five inches. WEATHER FORECAST. The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day:— , Situation: Pressure remains high to the north-east and a trough is expected from the west to-night. Forecast to 5 p.m., Friday: North-easterly to northerly winds, fresh to strong at times, backing to’ westerly during tonight. Weather: Overcast, with intermittent rain, but fair periods to-mor-row. Temperatures moderate., Further outlook: Changeable, with occasional showers.
