He has completely recovered from the shin soreness which affected him at the National meeting and will be in demand on Saturday. Changes: Bien Sur and Turco are recent additions to L. A. Maidens’s stable. Happy Man has had a change of trainers and is now with G. Cameron at New Brighton. Hardy Oak, until recently a stablemate of Haughty, was driven in yesterday’s trials :it New Brighton in the colours of C. S. Donald. Early Return: Sona, winner of the two-year-old event at Foxton, is a bay filly by Ringmaster from Drawl, dam of Dynasty, and is owned by Messrs J. and L. McMillan, owners of Don Quex. Sona, who is trained by G. New, cost 500gns as a yearling at Trentham.
