The depth on the bar at high water this morning was 20 feet. WEATHER FORECAST The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day:— ° Situation: A cold front moving north-eastward over Westland to-1 night.
Forecast to 5 p.m. Tuesday: Fresh south-westerlies prevailing. Weather cold and showery, but a temporary improvement early to-morrow. Temperatures colder.
Further outlook: Changeable westerly weather.
