WEST COAST ASSOCIATION. Dr. H. S. Ray presided ovei’ an attendance of delegates from the Greymouth, United, Runanga, Cobden. Paroa, St. Columba, Barrytowh, Dobson and Blaketown Clubs, at the annual meeting of the West Coast Lawn Tennis Association. The annual report and the balance sheet showing a credit balance of £l4/4/11 were read and adopted.
The election of officers resulted: President. Dr. H. S. Ray; vice-presi-dent, Mr. A. Winstanley; secretarytreasurer, Mr. ‘H. C. Hill; management committee, Messrs W. Heffernan, AV. G. Todd, N. Gibson and B. Griffiths; delegate to N.Z.L.T.A.. Mr. Evans Scott; auditor, Mr. L. C. Lindley. It was decided that the Grey SubAssn, be merged with the West Coast Assn., and that funds held by the Sub-Assn, be paid into the West Coast Assn’s, funds. It was resolved that arrears of dues owing by clubs up to September 30, 1943, be waived on condition that all clubs be financial for the current year. It was decided that tennis balls be allocated to clubs in proportion to the number of members and that subscriptions due by November 30 of the current year must be paid before the balls be delivered to clubs.
