RUGBY FOOTBALL
A challenge for the Seddon Shield was received from the Marlborough Rugby Union at the weekly meeting of the Buller Rugby Union, and the date suggeseted for the game. July 31, was accepted. Mr. A. Adams (Greymouth) was nominated as South Island selector, and Buller selectors were empowered to submit names for the South Island team. GOLF The following is the draw for the first round of the Greymouth Golf Club’s Blackmore Cup to be played on Saturday next (commencing at I. p.m., men drive off No. 1(1 Tee): Moss and Mrs Moss, Davis and Mrs Davis; Chivers and Mrs Chivers, Caulton and Mrs Robertson; Tizard and Miss Tizard, Rhodes and Miss McKnight; Mitchell and Miss Lindsay, Lindley and Miss Robertson; Walters and Mrs Tizard, Meldrum and Mrs Meldrum.
