RABBITSKIN SALE DUNEDIN, June 15. At to-day’s rabbitskin sale approximately 53 tons were offered. Demand generally was not so strong, particularly for Autumn grades, and these in most cases realised substantially lower prices. Associated Gold Dredges (N.Z.), Ltd.—For the week ending June 12 this company’s dredges recovered 1540 z. from 52,500 yards in 289 dredging hours. The dredges worked a day short because of the King’s Birthday holiday. Austral-New Zealand, for the 28 days ended June 12, operated for 479 hours, treating 277,000 yards and producing 534 oz of refined bullion. — P.A.
