RABBITSKIN SALE.

About 68 tons was offered at today’s rabbitskin sale to a full bench of buyers. There was a very strong demand for all grades. Racks and runners in particular were keenly sought after, and prices for these, as compared with previous auction rates, can- be quoted at 24d to 30d per lb dearer. Low grades were generally 5d to lOd per lb firmer. The bulk of the offering was comprised of racks and Summers. There was also a small percentage of season’s early Autumns, which realised up to 114 d per lb. Following is the official range of prices: Autumns, 107 d to 114 d; dawny Autumns, 93d to 98d; prime racks, lOld to 104 d: light racks, IOOd to 105 d; runners, 82d to 88id; small, 35Jd to 4(Hd; Summers, 464 d to 48d; milky, 45d to 46-ad; Autumn broken, 61d to 63acl; Summer broken 43d to 46|d; Summer weevily, 39d to 40d; Winter weevily, 49d to sld; Summer blacks, 12d to 19d; early Autumn blacks, 18d to 24d; Summer fawns, 1/-; hareskins, 1/-.
