[our own correspondent.] REEFTON, May 20. Miss Phyllis Palmer who has been visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. Palmer, has returned to Nelson. Mrs. J. Palmer (Hastings) is visiting her brother Mr. V. Mori. Mr. Arthur McKenna of the staff of Reefton P. and T. Department has received hotice of transfer to the Radio Department, Wellington and leaves on Saturday next for his new position. Major S. Bridge, Divisional Commander of the Salvation Army for Canterbury and Westland, is visiting Reefton.

The death occurred at Inangahua Hospital on Monday after a short illness, of Douglas Bruce Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon of Totara Flat. '
