ST. COLUMBA CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the St. Columba Literary and Debating Club was held last evening, Mr. W. J. Butler presiding over a good attendance. The annual report, and the balance sheet, showing a small credit balance, was read and adopted. ■ The election of officers resulted: — Spiritual Director, Father Holohan (re-elected); president, Mr. W. J. Butler (re-elected); honorary vice-presi-dent, Revs. Brother Oswald; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs. M. G. Kelly, A. M. Carroll, T. Keating, J. Kelly; secretary, Mr. J. J. Keating (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. E. A. Keating; auditor, Mr. M. G. Kelly (re-elected); committee, Messrs. J. Phillips, P. Southern, C. R. McGinley, L. Ogilvie, C. Heaphy, P. Blanchfield, and A. Ogilvie. Subscriptions were fixed at 5/- for seniors, and 2/6 for juniors, the same as last year. Votes of thanks wore passed to the president and the Secretary, for their services during the past year.
