AUCKLAND, April 28. i Total funds reaching a new high (level of £10,687,000, and an increase [of £500,000 in deposits, which was ’almost a record, were revealed at the : annual meeting of the Auckland Savings Bank Trustees, to-day. ■ , | The chairman (Mr. Edward Ander|son) said that evidence of confidence in the 'Bank was the growth in the I number of accounts, which apart from i National savings deposits, was increased during the year by 2,823, making a total of 195,362. The Bank made an interest-free loan of £50,000 to the Government for the juration of the war. Mr. Anderson was re-elected president, and Mr. G. W.
