The Greymouth men’s medal match at the week-end was won by B. F. Casey. The best scores were as follow: B. F. Casey 97, 30, 67; H. W. Brown 84, 16, 68; B. W. Caulton 75, 4, 71; F. G. Wilkins 95, 23, 72; J. Garth 90, 16, 74; J. P. Mathews 91, 17, 74. Chivers and Walters, the holders, defeated Hartley and Quill, 1 up, for the Jeffrey Buttons. Wilkins and Kane, the holders, defeated Mitchell.and Young, 4 and 3, for the Mitchell Buttons. The first round of the Blackmore Cup mixed foursome will be played next Saturday. Players wishing to enter, or requiring partners, are to advise the secretary before Thursday.
