Kakapo arrived last night, from, Wellington, and is loading coal for; return. She is to sail to-morrow. Alexander sailed yesterday afternoon, with timber for Port Waikato. She is to return next _ Thursday to oad again for Port Waikato.

Karu is expected to leave Wellington to-day, with cargo for Greymouth, and will load here to-rmorrow, with timber for Miramar and Wellington. Kaimiro is expected to leave Wellington to-night, for Greymouth, and will load on Monday for Auckland and Portland. Kartigi is expected to leave Auckland to-day, to load coal at Greymouth on Tuesday, for Wellington and Miramar. Hokitika will leave Wellington this evening, for Greymouth, and is due on Sunday. Titoki is due on Wednesday from Nelson, to load coal for Tarakohe.

Holm lea is due on Wednesday, from Tarakohe, to load for Picton.
