Mr Morgenthau has announced that subscriptions for the five hundred million dollar note issue total 4,073 millions. ATLANTIC PATROL. \ NEW YORK, December 14. The United States Navy starts a daylight air patrol of New York’s sea approaches on Sunday, thus supplementing the destroyer neutrality patrol. patrol will extend 75 miles over the Atlantic, filling a gap that has heretofore been existing between the shore and the destroyer route. MEXICAN NAVAL BASES MEXICO CITY, December 14. It is announced that the Mexican Navy plans to build docks and aerodromes on Isla Margarita, in lower California, and also on Isla Mujeres, in the province of Quintana Roo, and Isla Pichilingue at Baha La Paz. The Acapulco docks will be lengthened and an aviation base constructed at Zihuatanejo.
