Overdue: Toorak’s victory at Addington on Saturday, was overdue, for tile son of Wrack and Sund'&ck, by Sungod, had not won a race for more than two years. In the interval, he had been placed 19 times. Berry’s Candidate: R. B. Berry will drive Diamond Jim in the two-year-old stakes at Epsom to-morrow. Diamond Jim is by Great Jewel from Mountain Dell, and’ is reputed to be as smart as his breeding suggests. Gentleman Jim: The Southlander, Gentleman Jim, who joined the stable of J. Fraser, junr., at Addington, after the Forbury Park meeting, is a big gelding by Wrack from Goldflower (a daughter of a great mare in Bellflower). He lias won twice over two miles, but has been inconsistent.
