APPOINTED TO RESERVE

WELLINGTON, November 2.

'rhe appointment to the reserve of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces of Colonel R. F. Gambrill, V.D., Colonel N. L. Macky, M.C., and Colonel A. S. Wilder, D. 5.0., M.C., V-D., is included in a long list of appointments gazetted this evening. These three officers, in association with the late Colonel C. R. Spragg, were posted to the retired list last year after the issuing of a. manifesto on May 18, in which they expressed the view that the statement on defence made at Dargaville by the' Miriister for Defence (Mr. Jones) was iriadequate.
