MARTINEZ DISQUALIFIED. NEW PLYMOUTH, September 6. Ignacio Martinez was disqualified for punching in the seventh round of a wrestling match with “Lofty” Blomfled at Hawera to-night. Martinez had taken a fall in the third round with a Spanish deathknot. Blomfield equalised in the fifth, by rolling back when held in a full Nelson applied with the legs, and forcing Martinez’s shoulders to the mat. PINDER DEFEATS JONES. CHRISTCHURCH, September 6. Prince Bhu Pinder to-night defeated Paul Jones. Pinder took one fall in ■the fifth round with an Indian crab, and throughout the match was much the faster. Jones was below his usual standard. Despite showmanship the bout was sometimes lifeless.

McCready defeats boesch. NELSON, September 7. In a scientific bout, McCready defeated Boesch, by one fall, secured in the fifth round. WEST COAST AMATEURS.
