licensing committee. [OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] The quarterly meeting of the Motueka Licensing Committee was held at the Courthouse, Reefton, on Tuesday. Present were: Messrs S. Austin, J. Noble, J. Riley, D. Panekhurst and A. Rowling. In the absence of the Magistrate, Mr S. Austin was elected to act as chairman. The following applications were dealt with:— Big River Hotel (E. W. V. Jones) for renewal of accommodation license, -and for removal into other premises. —Objected to by Inspector McLeanAdjourned, by agreement, to DecemPost Hotel, Motueka (S. G.
