BRAZILIAN LOANS
INVITATION TO BONDHOLDERS

(Received July 19, 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY, July 18. Sir John Simon stated, in tile l Commons, that on July 12 Brazil informed Britain that it would welcome a representative from the British Council of Bondholders, in order that the position of Brazilian loans issued in the United Kingdom 'might be examined by the Minister of Finance.
It is understood that a similar invitation has been extended to French and American bondholders. The matter is receiving the consideration of the Council of Foreign Bondholders.
