LONDON, July 13
Liverpool C.I.D. men vcre called early this morning, to a fi'-e at the R.A.F. headquarters at the Spake airfield, near the site of the £2.0 f ’o.ooo shadow aircraft factory. The flames seriously burnt two R.A.F. trainer planes. The brigades prevented the fire from spreading to new’.y-c:mplet-ed airport buildings.
