ITALIAN PROTEST TO FRANCE.

[by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.]

(Recd. July 14, 10.20 a.m.) ROME, July 13.

Italy has sent a Note to France, stating that the cession of Hatay is an obvious contradiction of the purposes of the Mandate, and is contrary to the wishes of the population. Italy, therefore, expressed complete and fullest reserve regarding the contents of the new accord.
