NAZI DENIAL
DANZIG DEMONSTRATION. [By CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.]'' LONDON, May 14. The Danzig correspondent, of the British United Press says the Nazis deny that a monster demonstration will be held on May 15. They declare that only 300 Brown Shirts, and no Storm Troopers, will march for two miles, the ceremony ending in a routine concert. TOLAND REMAINS CALM. (Received May 16, 2.25 p.m.) LONDON, May 15. “The Times’ ” Warsaw correspondent says that the Nazis demonstration in Danzig, to-night, caused no excitement here. Indeed, the Nazi organisers unwittingly demonstrated Polish tolerance to the world.
Herr Miller, Counsellox* at the Foreign Ministry in Berlin, attended a. sitting of the staff of the Nazi Party, which began in Danzig on May 14, and lasted into the night, being resumed this morning.
The Polish Press is not concerned, and says that everybody knows how Poland will react if anything serious is attempted. It also points out that, the Polish Army can easily reach Danzig, before the German troops. Trustworthy non-Polish investigators, who visited the regions in which Gormans are allegedly victims of terrorists. report that the allegations are without foundation.

The Minister of Defence (General Kaspi’zycki) has gone to Paris, to confer with M. Daladier and military officers.
LEAGUE DEBATE POSTPONED
LONDON, May 15
The League Committee (England. France and Sweden), will not discuss Danzig, according to the agenda, as the time is considered inopportune. Poland approves the decision.

BERLIN, May 15.
Herr Bohle, of Bradford, has announced that Germany will take furthex* reprisals fox* the expulsion of Germans from Britain. He declared: Germans abroad are regarded as scapegoats fox* the hatred felt against the Reich. Nevertheless, we do not want an expulsion war, as Germans abroad are merely ambassadors of goodwill.
DEMAND FOR COLONIES
(Recd. Mav 16, 8.30 a.m.). VIENNA. May 15
On the eve of the Colonial Congress. the Nazis have launched a most-intensive campaign through the Press, demanding the return of the Reich’s “stolen possessions.” General Von Epp, Chief of the Colonial League, and other leaders harp on the theme that Germany needs space in order to live. Thirty thousand people, including former ’ Colonial Governors and administrators, are expected to attend.
