Kid Berg, attempting a come-back, was technically knocked out in the fifth round by Pedro Montanez (Porto Rico), the welter-weight. Montanez has lost only one fight out of 43 in the United States. BOUT AT DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN, March 12. In a professional 12-round welterweight boxing contest held here last night. Norman Fisher (Christchurch), lOst 2£lb, beat Norman Jenkin (Oamaru). lOst 6Mb. The referee stopped the fight in the tenth round. Fisher was on top almost throughout, and out-fought and out-manoeuvred his man.
