BLACKBALL NOTES
[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Blackball Lodge. M.U.0.F.. was held in the- lodge room last evening. Sister J. Anderson (Noble Grand) presiding over a good attendance. Four medical certificates were received as satisfactory. Advice was received that the annual conference "would take place in March. Correspondence was received from the Grand Secretary, also from the District Secretary, Bro. G. M. Powell. At the card party held in the Druids' Hall, last, evening. Mrs. Simpson was the winner.
Mr. and Mrs. R. Dnrnpleton are visiting Christchurch, 'Where their infant daughter is an inmate of a private hospital. Mrs. Bellamy, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Park, left, yesterday, on return to Christchurch. Mrs. J. McNaughton left, yesterday, on a holiday visit, to Christchurch. Mrs. H. Neilson, who has been visiting relatives, has left on return to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. D. Nichol, of Timarti, are the guests of Mrs. Nichol's daughter. Mrs. W. Brown, Moonlight Road. The men who have been working on lite Blackball school ground, have been transferred to the Ngahere school.
