Herr Hitler has completed a costly eyrie at the summit of the 6050-feet Kehlstein Peak, south-west of Berchtesgaden, where he plans future actions in solitude, says the Berlin correspondent of tlie “Daily Telegraph.” A huge iron door opens unexpectedly to allow penetration of a rock wall apparently blocking a spiral motor road. Explosives have been used to create a chamber on the other side, providing a search-lighted garage with a. limestone floor from which a lift ascends 1801) feet to the summit. A pavilion, constructed of steel and glass, with enormous windows, affords beautiful mountain views.

The Warsaw correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says a report that Germany promised Poland a share in the redistribution of colonies is denied.
