The Intermitional Sugar Council announced that figures, mostly oflicial, show tin; requirements of free market. first quota year ending 31/8/2.8, ex eeeded exports to that date by 77 000 metric tom. Requirements of the free market for the second quota year, owing to falls in English and European crops, are likely to substantially exceed 3,150,000 metric tons.
