GERMANY TO SYDNEY

SYDNEY, January 16
The German Air Force lieutenants, Pulkowski and Jennett, completed a leisurely Hight, this evening at Mascot aerodrome, Sydney, 28 days out from monoplane. They flew a tiny Arado monolane, and reached Darwin on Saturday night, Winton yesterday, and the final stage to Sydney to-day.
SPITFIRE’S RECORD
RUGBY. January 16
The supermarine Spitfire fighter, which was on exhibition at the R.A.I • stand at the Aero Show, made a flight from Le Bourget to Croydon to-day. I,caving Le Bourget at 2.27 p.m., the plane landed at Croydon at <>.S p.m.. The average speed for the flight of 205 miles, including climbing to a height of IS.OOO feet, was thus 300 miles an hour.
