SHIPPING NOTES.
Titoki, sailed early this morning for Nelson and Tarakohe. She is to return on Saturday, to load for New Plymouth and Wanganui. Foxton sailed this morning for Hokitika, to load timber for Wellington. Poolta arrived early this morning from Wellington and is loading coal for Napier and Gisborne. She is to sail at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Westport, to complete. Miro arrived this morning from Auckland, with explosives, and after discharge will proceed to Westport.
Hokitika arrived this morning from Wellington and is to proceed to Hokitika to-night.
Kartigi was delayed at Wellington, owing to a shortage of trucks, and therefore she cannot leave, before tomorrow for Greymouth, being due on Friday night, to load for Wellington. Totara has also been delayed at Wellington by a shortage of trucks and is to leave there to-morrow with cargo for Greymouth. She is due on Friday night, to load timber for Miramar. Karu is to leave Wellington on Saturday for Greymouth and on Monday will load timber for Miramar. Korowai is due on Tuesday, from Auckland, to load coal for Wellington and Miramar. Waimea is due on December 28, to load timber for Port Waikato. . Waipahi now replaces the Wamui in the carriage of motor cars between Lyttelton and Wellington and return from December 16 to 23.
