WEATHER FORECAST. General situation: Pressure is still low in the south, but the gradients are only moderate. A series of westerly depressions is crossing the South Island, while, another shallow disturbance is located to the noi th of the Dominion. Forecast: Moderate to strong northerly winds, backing shortly to west, or in places south-west. Weather dull at first, with intermittent rain, but improving somewhat, after a westerly change. Temperatures moderate. Sea moderate to rather rough.
