CAR BANDIT SUSPECT. MELBOURNE. September 7. Detectives inquiring into the murder of Sherry (shot by car bandits), charged a young man with the murder.
VON LUCKNER LEAVES BRISBANE. Sept. 6. Count von Luckner to-day sailed for Batavia from Cairns. He is well satisfied witli his Australian tour. He had come here for friendship and had found it. He strongly urged Australians to hold on to the “white Australia” policy.
