A signal victory for President Roosevelt is seen in the returns from the Democratic Primary of the State of Kentucky, in which Mr A. W. Barkley is assured of renomination to the United States Senate. Mr Barkley already has a lead of 50,000 over Governor Chandler. President Roosevelt personally visited Kentucky and urged the voters to return the Senate’s majority leader.
