W.F.A. MEETING The Westlnad Football Association met last evening, there being present: Messrs W. Rafferty (chairman), R. Armstrong, C. Hodgson, J. Paton Junr., J. Wood and D. Wallis (secretary). It was decided to protest to the Canterbury Association against the holding of the Chatham Cup semi-final in Christchurch, and to point out to the New Zealand Council that according to the Chatham Cup rules, Greymouth should be the centre for the semi-final. It was decided to insist on the Association’s request that a New Zealand badge holder referee the Peter Dawson Cup match, between Westland and Buller. It was resolved that the Wostland team for Buller leave on Friday next at 7.30 p.m.; also that the Association agree with the Buller proposal regarding the presentation of the cup, and a banquet. It. was decided to ask Mr. J. B. Paton to be Westland selector, in connection with the Dewar Cup match, and also to choose a reserve for the Westland team, J. Shotton having replaced Waddell, -who was not available. It was decided to advise the Canterbury Association that there was no possibility of primary or secondary school teams from the Coast entering for the South Island tournament, which is to be held in Christchurch. FIXTURES Fixtures for Saturday next are: — Third Grade: (Campbell Cup Competition). Runanga v. Technical A, at Runanga, at 3 p.m. (J. Greening); Technical B v. Technical C, at 1.30 p.m. (J. Larking). Primary school fixture i (Thursday next): Runanga v. Grey Main, at Ru.nanga (J. Greening).
