AUSTRALIAN REORGANISATION. SYDNEY, May 18. The Canberra correspondent of the “Sun” reports that Major-General Ernest Ker Squires, Director of Staff Duties at the War Office, London, since 1936, has been selected by the Commonwealth Government for appointment as Inspector-General of the Australian Military Forces. The Federal Government is now awaiting advice on whether the British Government can spare him for two years for a reorganisation of the Australian forces.
