JEWISH OFFENSIVE

STOCK EXCHANGE BATTLES

[BY CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. Jan. 3, 11 a.m.). LONDON, January 2.

The “Sunday Chronicle” says: Jewry, faced with persecution in Poland, Roumania, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and elsewhere, intends to hit back. The battle will be fought on the world’s stock exchanges. Most anti-Semitic States are burdened with debts, and may find their very existence threatened.

Leaders of International Jewry meet at a village near Geneva, this week, to plan a. five hundred million sterling fund, with which to fight the persecutors. Jewish financiers throughout the world would have no difficulty in raising such a fund, which combined with a trade boycott, would enable a counter-offensive, in_ which the persecutors may be defeated. POLISH MARRIAGES VOID. (Recd. Jan. 3, 1 pan.). WARSAW, January 2. After investigation, the Polish authorities declared void over 4000 marriages contracted by Jews in the Wilno district, before “illegal” Rabbis. . The marriages will have to be performed again, before legal Rabbis, and applications made for recognition of the children, as horn in wedlock.
