Rata left Nelson at 9 o’clock this morning for Westport and Greymouth. She is due to-morrow to load for Napier and Wellington, and is to return on January 5, to load coal for Tarakohe. 1

Gael is expected to load cargo for Jackson’s Bay at Greymouth, about the first week in January.
