NEW EXECUTIVE APPOINTED. [t’Et; fimss association.] AUCKLAND, .lune 22. The appointment of almost a new executive for the direction of the boy scout movement in New Zealand was repotted by Air H. Christie, actingimniinion Chief Commissioner, at a largely attended meeting at Auckland. Mr Christie said that reconstruction work would lie slow, but a finance fcmmitlee was now working under the chairmanship of Sir .lames Grose in association with men of prominence in financial circles, and good progress was 'expected. A cabinet of headquarters commissioners lor various branches of scouting—cubs, M'Oins. rovers, and sen scouts—was being formed, and as soon as finance made it possible, Mr .1. R. H.
