LONDON CHAMPIONSHIPS [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN.—COPYRIGHT.] LONDON, June 19. The finals of the London lawn tennis championships at Queen’s Club resulted: — Men’s Singlies: Semi-finals —J. D. Budge (United States) beat F. Nakano (Japan), 6—2. 6—o; IL W. Austin (England) beat Wayne Sabin (United States), 6—l, 3—6, 6-3-. Final —Budge beat Austin 6 —l, 6—2. Budge completely overwhelmed Austin, who was made to appear a secondrater. Austin was unable to find a defence against Budge’s brilliant driving and volleying.

Women’s Singles. Final —Mlle. J. 1 Jedzrejowska (Poland) beat Miss K. E. Stammers (England), 6—3, 6 —o.
