Sun-baking is condemned by the health expert of the Nazi Party, who. in a circular to the Press states that people indulging in the practice not only injure health, but. they try to appear what they are not, namely suntanned health athletes. He also criticised peroxide blondes. “We are aspiring to a special Nordic type, both in character and appearance, therefore these offenders should be ridiculed when they appear in the street," he said.
