INFANTILE PARALYSIS

CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. Three additional cases of infantile paralysis were, reported to-day. Two young men in Timaru have contracted the disease, and so has an eleven-year-old boy in the city.
WELLINGTON.
WELLINGTON, April 26.
Three of the four cases of infantile paralysis notified in Wellington during the Aveek-end have proved positive cases without paralysis. They are a boy aged six from Newtown, a boy aged 12 from Kilbirnie, and a girl aged 11 from Wellington South. The fourth positive case, which is marked by some paralysis, is a girl aged seven from Newtown.

GISBORNE, April 27.
After a brief period of immunity, two further cases of infantile were admitted to the hospital yesterday, the patients being seven and nine year old boys from the tOAvn area. The sister of one boy has been in hospital for some time, and it is stated that two other members of the same family are under observation as suspects. MANAWATU PALMERSTON N., April 27. Two more suspected cases of infantile paralysis were admitted to the hospital to-day, one from Feilding and the other from the area between the city and Longburn. The case admitted at the week-end from Ashhurst, a boy aged ten years, is diagnosed as positive.
