CH.CH. WOOL SALE

HIGHER VALUES MAINTAINED. [per press association.] CHRISTCHURCH. April 16. Excellent values ruled at the fourth and final Christchurch wool sale to. day, when atypical end-of-season offering of 10,728 hales, mainly comprised of medium and inferior wools, was disposed of. For choicest fine wools, values were up to Id a pound better than at the third Christchurch sale a month ago, other classes of tine wool being firm to slightly better. Top halfbrod price and top price for the sale was 2-l.ld. paid for four bales. Corriedale wool, of which very little offered, went up to 23ijd, this price being paid for tops in Double Hill clip. The second classings went at 22£d and 22ifd and the best of this clip’s pieces made 20d. Best crossbred price was 20:7(1. paid for 23 bales. SYDNEY SALES SYDNEY, April 15.
