INFANTILE PARALYSIS

GERALDINE PATIENT. [FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, February 22. The admission of an infantile paralysis suspect to the Timaru Hospital was reported to-day by the District Medical Officer of Health for Canterbury, Dr. T. Fletcher-Telford. The patient, a male, came from the Geraldine district. THREE MORE IN SOUTHLAND. INVERCARGILL, February 22. Three more cases of infantile paralysis were admitted to the Southland Hospital to-day. The patients were a girl, aged 15, a resident of Clifton, and boys, aged five and four respectively. The girl is definitely paralysed. The boys are also paralysed, but not very severely. There are now nine cases in the Southland Hospital.
